ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT 1994 - SECT 342

342 Substantial compliance with Act may be accepted as compliance

(1) This section applies if, under this Act, a person or public authority is required to give public notice of an application for the issue of a transitional environmental program and the administering authority is not satisfied public notice has been properly given.

(2) The administering authority may consider and decide whether to approve the application if it is satisfied there has been substantial compliance with this Act.
