EDUCATION (GENERAL PROVISIONS) ACT 2006 - SECT 78

78 Object
(1) The object of this chapter is to improve student learning outcomes by
providing for the establishment and operation of school councils.
(2) A
school council has particular functions for guiding the broad strategic
direction of the State school for which it is established.
