FAIR TRADING INSPECTORS ACT 2014 - SECT 61
Offence to contravene information requirement
61 Offence to contravene information requirement
(1) A person of whom an information requirement is made must comply with the
requirement unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Penalty— Maximum
penalty—200 penalty units or 1 year’s imprisonment.
(2) It is a
reasonable excuse for an individual not to give the information if giving the
information might tend to incriminate the individual or expose the individual
to a penalty.
