Referral to Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal
176 Referral to Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal
(1) The
information commissioner must refer the privacy complaint to QCAT, if asked to
do so by the complainant, within 20 business days after being asked to refer
it.
(2) QCAT must exercise its original jurisdiction under the QCAT Act to
hear and decide a privacy complaint referred to it under this section.
