Requirements for compliance notice
214I Requirements for compliance notice
(1) A compliance notice must state the following matters— (a) that the
authorised officer reasonably believes the permittee to whom the notice is
given is breaching, or has breached, a condition of the person’s permit;
(b) the condition the authorised officer believes is being, or has been,
breached;
(c) the nature of the breach;
(d) the reasonable steps the
permittee must take to remedy the breach;
(e) the reasonable period within
which the permittee must take the steps to remedy the breach.
(2) If the
compliance notice requires the permittee to carry out work, it must also give
details of the work involved.
(3) If the compliance notice requires the
permittee to refrain from doing an act, it must also state— (a) the period
for which the requirement applies; or
(b) that the requirement applies until
further notice.
