Revocation of reserves
33 Revocation of reserves
(1) The Minister may revoke the dedication of all or part of a reserve if—
(a) it is not needed for a community purpose and, for a reserve dedicated for
a purpose mentioned in section 31 (1) (b) to (d) , it is no longer needed for
that purpose; or
(b) it is needed, in the public interest, for a different
use; or
(c) the Minister is satisfied a different tenure would be more
appropriate for the purpose for which the land is used; or
(d) the reserve or
part is in a priority development area.
(2) The Minister may revoke the
dedication of all or part of a reserve without receiving an application under
section 34 .
