(1) A signature on a certificate or report purporting to be the signature of an appropriately qualified person who gave the certificate or report is evidence of the signature it purports to be.
(2) A statement of any of the following matters in the certificate or report is evidence of the matters stated in the absence of evidence to the contrary—(a) the person’s qualifications;(b) a stated document is a remotely sensed image, or a copy of a remotely sensed image, of a stated area;(c) the date on which a stated remotely sensed image was produced;(d) the person’s stated conclusions drawn from a stated remotely sensed image;(e) the location of a stated area;(g) whether a stated area is or is likely to be an area of remnant vegetation.
(3) A party to the proceeding intending to challenge the statement must give at least 28 days notice of the party’s intention to adduce relevant evidence.
(4) In this section—
"remnant vegetation" means remnant vegetation within the meaning of the Vegetation Management Act .
