Performance of non-ablative neurosurgical procedure with consent and tribunal approval
239 Performance of non-ablative neurosurgical procedure with consent and
tribunal approval
A doctor for an authorised mental health service may
perform a non-ablative neurosurgical procedure on a person in the authorised
mental health service if— (a) the person has given informed consent to the
treatment; and
(b) the tribunal has approved under section 512 the
performance of the procedure on the person.
