MENTAL HEALTH ACT 2016 - SECT 397
Visitor may ask for search to stop
397 Visitor may ask for search to stop
(1) The authorised security officer
must stop the search if the visitor tells the officer the visitor does not
want the search to continue and is prepared to leave the service immediately.
(2) The visitor must leave the service immediately. Penalty— Maximum
penalty—20 penalty units.
