(1) The tribunal must give the parties to the appeal written notice of the hearing of the appeal.
(2) The notice must be given—(a) for an appeal against a decision for which a decision notice must be given under section 314 (4) or 315 (3) —(i) at least 3 days before the hearing; or(ii) if the appellant agrees to a shorter period before the hearing—at least the agreed period before the hearing; or(b) for an appeal against another decision—at least 7 days before the hearing.
(3) The notice must state the following—(a) the time and place of the hearing of the appeal;(b) the nature of the hearing;(c) the parties’ rights to be represented at the hearing.
