Detention of person in authorised mental health service with use of reasonable force
629 Detention of person in authorised mental health service with use of
reasonable force
(1) This section applies if, under a provision of this Act,
a person is required or permitted to be detained in an authorised mental
health service.
(2) The administrator of the authorised mental health
service, and anyone lawfully helping the administrator, may exercise the power
to detain the person in the service with the help, and using the force, that
is necessary and reasonable in the circumstances.
