POLICE POWERS AND RESPONSIBILITIES ACT 2000 - SECT 510
Dentist’s powers
510 Dentist’s powers
(1) This section applies if a police officer asks a
dentist to perform a forensic procedure on a person under section 502 .
(2)
The dentist may perform a forensic procedure to the extent mentioned in
section 446 that may provide evidence of the commission of the offence to
which the forensic procedure consent or forensic procedure order relates.
