In this part—
"core trading hours" , for a retail shopping centre, means hours not outside
the allowable trading hours under the Trading (Allowable Hours) Act 1990
that—
(a) are stated in a resolution passed by the eligible lessees of the centre under section 52 as the hours retail shops in the centre may be required to open for trading; or
(b) until a resolution is passed—(i) for existing leases—the lessees of the centre were required, immediately before the commencement of the Trading (Allowable Hours) Amendment Act 1994 , to keep the retail shops open for trading; or(ii) for other leases—the greatest number of lessees of the centre are required by the lessor to keep the retail shops open for trading.
