Entry with resident’s agreement
257 Entry with resident’s agreement
(1) The provider may enter the resident’s room, for any reason, if the
resident agrees. Examples of resident’s agreement to entry— 1 The
provider orally asks to enter the resident’s room and the resident orally
agrees.
2 The rooming accommodation agreement states times at which the
provider may enter the room each week to carry out cleaning.
(2) If the
provider has agreed to provide a service other than accommodation to the
resident, the provider may enter the resident’s room at the times that are
reasonably necessary to provide the service.
