RETIREMENT VILLAGES ACT 1999 - SECT 29
Application to QCAT for review
29 Application to QCAT for review
(1) A person whose application to register a retirement village scheme has
been refused, or is taken to have been refused, may apply, as provided under
the QCAT Act , to the tribunal for a review of the decision.
(2) However, if
the chief executive is taken to have refused the application under section 28
, the period within which the person may apply to the tribunal for a review of
the decision is 88 days after the application to register the scheme was made.
(3) The scheme operator may apply, as provided under the QCAT Act , to the
tribunal for a review of the chief executive’s decision to deregister a
retirement village scheme.
