STATE PENALTIES ENFORCEMENT ACT 1999 - SECT 26
When alleged offender can not elect to have offence decided by court
26 When alleged offender can not elect to have offence decided by court
(1) This section applies if a person served with an infringement notice for an
offence— (a) pays the fine for the offence to the administering authority;
or
(b) applies to the administering authority to pay the fine for the offence
by instalments.
(2) The person may not elect to have the matter decided by a
Magistrates Court.
