TOBACCO AND OTHER SMOKING PRODUCTS ACT 1998 - SECT 37A
Failure to help authorised person
37A Failure to help authorised person
(1) A person required to give reasonable help under section 37 (3) (f) must
comply with the requirement, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Penalty— Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
(2) If an individual is
required under section 37 (3) (f) to give information, or produce a document,
it is a reasonable excuse for the individual not to comply with the
requirement that complying with the requirement might tend to incriminate the
individual.
