Obstructing authorised person
135 Obstructing authorised person
(1) A person must not obstruct an authorised person in the exercise of a power
under this or another Act, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Penalty— Maximum penalty—60 penalty units.
(2) If a person has
obstructed an authorised person under subsection (1) and the authorised person
decides to exercise the power, the authorised person must, if practicable,
warn the person— (a) that the authorised person considers the person’s
conduct is obstructing the authorised person; and
(b) that it is an offence
to obstruct the authorised person, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
