Person given direction to be told particular things
143AJ Person given direction to be told particular things
(1) The person giving a direction under this chapter must tell, in a general
way, the person to whom the direction is given— (a) the reason the person
has been given the direction; and
(b) that it is an offence to fail to comply
with the direction, unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Example of
paragraph (a)— The reason is that you are being a nuisance to other
passengers.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply if the direction is given
because of an emergency.
