WORKERS' COMPENSATION AND REHABILITATION ACT 2003 - SECT 136
Worker must notify return to work or engagement in a calling
136 Worker must notify return to work or engagement in a calling
(1) A
worker receiving compensation for an injury must give notice within 10
business days of the worker’s— (a) return to work; or
(b) engagement in a
calling.
Penalty— Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
(2) The
notice must be given to the insurer.
(3) The notice may be a certificate in
the approved form of a doctor stating the worker’s capacity for work.
