WORKERS' COMPENSATION AND REHABILITATION ACT 2003 - SECT 19
Person in voluntary or honorary position with non-profit organisation
19 Person in voluntary or honorary position with non-profit organisation
(1) WorkCover may enter into a contract of insurance for this subdivision with
a non-profit organisation.
(2) The contract may cover a person in a voluntary
or honorary position with the organisation (
"volunteer" ).
(3) A person covered by the contract is entitled to
compensation for injury sustained only while attending meetings and performing
any other duty the organisation requires, as a volunteer.
