Rights of worker in relation to medical treatment
208B Rights of worker in relation to medical treatment
If a worker sustains
an injury, the insurer and the worker’s employer must not interfere in, or
act in a manner inconsistent with, the worker’s right to choose—
(a) the
registered person who will provide medical treatment for the injury; and
(b)
who is present during medical treatment for the injury.
