Insurer’s liability for medical treatment, hospitalisation and expenses
210 Insurer’s liability for medical treatment, hospitalisation and expenses
(1) The insurer must pay the cost of the medical treatment or hospitalisation
that the insurer considers reasonable, having regard to the worker’s injury.
(2) Under the table of costs, WorkCover may impose conditions on the provision
of the medical treatment.
(3) Before imposing a condition under subsection
(2) WorkCover must consult with self-insurers.
