YOUTH JUSTICE ACT 1992 - SECT 23
If restorative justice agreement is made as a consequence of referral for restorative justice process
23 If restorative justice agreement is made as a consequence of referral for
restorative justice process
(1) This section applies if— (a) a police officer refers an offence
committed by a child to the chief executive for a restorative justice process;
and
(b) a restorative justice agreement is made as a consequence of the
referral.
(2) The child is not liable to be prosecuted for the offence unless
otherwise provided under this Act.
