TRANSPORT OPERATIONS (ROAD USE MANAGEMENT--ROAD RULES) REGULATION 2009 - REG 181
Stopping in a works zone
(1) A driver must not stop in a works zone, unless the driver is driving a
vehicle that is engaged in construction work in or near the zone.
Penalty— Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
(2) A
"works zone" is a length of a road to which a works zone sign applies.
