TRANSPORT OPERATIONS (ROAD USE MANAGEMENT--ROAD RULES) REGULATION 2009 - REG 189
Double parking
189 Double parking
(1) A driver must not stop on a road if to do so would put any part of the
vehicle that the driver is driving between a vehicle that is parked on the
road and the centre of the road. Penalty— Maximum penalty—20 penalty
units.
(2) A driver does not contravene subsection (1) by parking on the
side of the road, or in a median strip parking area, in accordance with
section 210 . Examples—
