195 Stopping at or near a bus stop

(1) A driver (except the driver of a bus) must not stop at a bus stop, or on the road, within 20m before a sign on the road that indicates the bus stop, and 10m after the sign, unless the driver—

(a) stops at a place on a length of road, or in an area, to which a parking control sign applies; and

(b) is permitted to stop at that place under this regulation.

Penalty—

Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.

(2) For this section, distances are measured in the direction in which the driver is driving.

(3) In this section—

"road" does not include a road-related area, but includes any shoulder of the road.
