72A.Former time limit abolished


The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows:


Part 1—Preliminary

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Criminal Law Consolidation (Abolition of Time Limit for Prosecution of Certain Sexual Offences) Amendment Act 2003.

Amendment provisions

2. In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a specified Act amends the Act so specified.

Part 2—Amendment of Criminal Law Consolidation Act 1935

Insertion of section 72A

3. Before section 73 insert:

Former time limit abolished

72A. Any immunity from prosecution arising because of the time limit imposed by the former section 76A1 is abolished.

1. Repealed by section 5 of the Criminal Law Consolidation Act Amendment Act 1985.
