The Parliament of South Australia enacts as
follows:
This Act may be cited as the Constitution (Access to Ministers)
Amendment Act 2012.
In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a
specified Act amends the Act so specified.
Part 2—Amendment
of Constitution
Act 1934
After section 73B insert:
73C—Offence to promote event involving special
access to Minister
A person must not promote an event intended to raise funds for a political
party in a way that suggests special access will be given to a Minister at the
event or in association with the event.
Maximum penalty: $20 000.
