The Parliament of South Australia enacts as
follows:
This Act may be cited as the Radiation Protection and Control (Licences
and Registration) Amendment Act 2011.
This Act will come into operation on a day to be fixed by
proclamation.
In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a
specified Act amends the Act so specified.
Part 2—Amendment
of Radiation Protection and Control
Act 1982
4—Amendment
of section 28—Licence to use or handle radioactive
substances
Section 28(2)—delete subsection (2) and substitute:
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a person or substance of a prescribed
class.
5—Amendment
of section 29—Registration of premises in which unsealed radioactive
substances are handled or kept
Section 29(3)—delete subsection (3) and substitute:
(3) Subsection (1) does not apply to premises or a substance of a
prescribed class.
