The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows:

Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

This Act may be cited as the Statutes Amendment (Terrorism) Act 2015.

2—Amendment provisions

In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a specified Act amends the Act so specified.

Part 2—Amendment of Terrorism (Police Powers) Act 2005

3—Amendment of section 31—Expiry of Act

Section 31—delete "tenth" and substitute:

twentieth

Part 3—Amendment of Terrorism (Preventative Detention) Act 2005

4—Amendment of section 52—Sunset provision

Section 52—delete "10" wherever occurring and substitute in each case:

20

5—Transitional provision

Section 52 of the Terrorism (Preventative Detention) Act 2005


, as amended by Part 3 of this Act, applies in relation to a preventative detention order or prohibited contact order whether the order was made before or after the commencement of Part 3.
