The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows:

Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

This Act may be cited as the Stamp Duties (Transfers) Amendment Act 2016.

2—Amendment provisions

In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a specified Act amends the Act so specified.

Part 2—Amendment of Stamp Duties Act 1923

3—Amendment of section 67—Computation of duty where instruments are interrelated

Section 67(2)—after paragraph (a) insert:

(ab) a conveyance that relates to a parcel of land that is being conveyed as part of a series of separate conveyances of adjoining parcels of land by different persons to the same person (whether that person takes alone or with the same or different persons);
