The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows:

Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

This Act may be cited as the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (South Australia) (Removal of Sunset Clause) Amendment Act 2004.

2—Amendment provisions

In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a specified Act amends the Act so specified.


Part 2—Amendment of Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (South Australia) Act 1999

3—Amendment of section 4—Adoption of Commonwealth Act

Section 4(2)—delete subsection (2) and substitute:

(2) The adoption under subsection (1) has effect for a period commencing on the day on which this Act comes into operation (but not so as to give effect to any adopted provision before it comes into operation under the Commonwealth Act) and ending on a day fixed under subsection (3) as the day on which the adoption terminates.

(3) The Governor may, by proclamation, fix a day on which the adoption under subsection (1) will terminate.
