The Parliament of South Australia enacts
as follows:
This Act may be cited as the The
Standard Time (Eastern Standard Time) Amendment Act 2004.
This Act will come into operation on a day and at a time to be
fixed by proclamation.
In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the
amendment of a specified Act amends the Act so specified.
Part 2—Amendment of The Standard Time Act 1898
Section 3—delete the section and
substitute:
3—Standard
time
Standard time in South Australia is the mean time of the meridian
of longitude 150 degrees east of Greenwich in England.
The Standard Time Act 1898, as amended by this Act, applies to any Act, order in Council, rule, regulation, by-law, deed or instrument enacted or made before the commencement of this Act.
