The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows:


Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Water Resources (Miscellaneous) Amendment Act 2002.

(2) The Water Resources Act 1997 is referred to in this Act as "the principal Act".

Amendment of s. 122A-Provisions applying to water (holding) allocations in declared water resources

2. Section 122A of the principal Act is amended by inserting in subsection (2)(c) "(either on the basis of an absolute transfer of the allocation or a transfer of the allocation for a limited period)" after "water (holding) allocation".

Amendment of Sched. 2—Provisions relating to the Water Resources Council and to Catchment Water Management Boards and Water Resources Planning Committees

3. Schedule 2 of the principal Act is amended by inserting after subclause (10) of clause 10 the following subclause:

(10a) This clause does not apply, and will be taken never to have applied, in relation to a benefit or detriment enjoyed or suffered by a member of the council, board or committee in common with a substantial class or group within the community.
