19—Order of Court dispensing with or recognising consent
(1) In order to
facilitate arrangements for the adoption of a child, the Court may, on
application by or on behalf of the Chief Executive, make an order dispensing
with or recognising the validity of a consent under this Division before an
application for an adoption order has been made and any such order has effect
for the purposes of any application for an adoption order that may
subsequently be made under this Act.
(2) An order made
under subsection (1) may, on the application of the Chief Executive or of
the person whose consent was in question, be revoked by the Court at any time
before the making of an adoption order in respect of the child.
