The provisions of the Petroleum Act 1940 shall apply and have effect to
and in relation to the operation by the Producers of wells, field facilities,
gathering systems and trunklines by remote supervisory control systems to the
exclusion of section 34 of the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Act 1968 and
any other Act or law which would otherwise prevent such operation.
