(1) The Premier may
nominate a Minister to be a deputy of the Premier, or of another Minister, for
the purposes of the Capital City Committee.
(2) The Adelaide City
Council may nominate a member of the Council to be a deputy of a member of the
Capital City Committee under section 7(1)(b), for the purposes of the
Committee.
(3) A deputy may act
as a member of the Committee in the event of the absence or unavailability of
the member of the Committee in relation to whom the deputy is appointed.
(4) Anything done by
or in relation to a person purporting to act under a nomination under this
section is not invalid merely because—
(a)
there was a defect or irregularity in connection with the nomination; or
(b) the
occasion to act had not arisen or had ceased.
