transit
While a prisoner is being taken to any place in which he or she is to be
detained, or is being taken for any purpose contemplated by this Act from any
place in which he or she is being detained, the prisoner may, without any
authority other than this section, be detained in any other place for as long
as may reasonably be required in the course of effecting the transfer.
