LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1999 - SECT 146

146—Rates and charges that a council may impose

A council may impose rates and charges of the following kinds on land within its area:

            (a)         general rates;

            (b)         separate rates;

            (c)         service rates;

            (d)         service charges.
