262H—Acting member
(1) If—
(a) a
member is unable to perform official functions or duties; or
(b) the
office of a member is vacant,
the Governor may appoint a person to act in the office of the member for a
period of up to 6 months on conditions determined by the Governor.
(2) If a member is
unable to act in relation to a particular matter, the Minister may appoint a
person to act in the office of the member in relation to that matter on
conditions determined by the Minister.
(3)
Section 262G(2) to (5) (inclusive) apply to an acting member as if
they were appointed under section 262F.
