82—Calling of special meetings
(1) The chief
executive officer must, at the request of—
(a) the
principal member of the council; or
(b) at
least three members of the council; or
(c) a
council committee at which at least three members of the council vote in
favour of the making of the request,
call a special meeting of the council.
(2) The
chief executive officer must be provided with an agenda for the special
meeting at the time that a request is made under subsection (1) (and if
an agenda is not provided then the request has no effect).
(3) Special meetings
may be held at any time.
