45E—Chairman and meetings of a Trust
(1) The members of a
Trust must elect one of their number to be presiding member of the Trust for
such period as the Trust may determine.
(2) The presiding
member, if present at a meeting of the Trust, must preside at that meeting.
(3) In the absence of
the presiding member, the members present at a meeting must elect one of their
number to preside at that meeting.
(4) A decision carried
by a majority of the votes cast by the members present at a meeting is a
decision of the Trust.
(5) The person
presiding at a meeting of a Trust has, in the event of an equality of votes, a
casting vote in addition to a deliberative vote.
(6) Subject to this
Act, a Trust may conduct its business in such manner as it thinks fit.
