NATIONAL PARKS AND WILDLIFE ACT 1972 - SECT 55

55—Restriction on release of protected animals

A person must not release a protected animal or an animal of a species listed in Schedule 10 from captivity unless that person is authorised to do so by a permit granted by the Minister.

Maximum penalty: $2 500.

Expiation fee: $210.
