32—Payment of interim benefits
(1) The Corporation
may, pending the final determination of a claim, make interim payments under
this Part to a claimant.
(2) The Corporation
must offer to make interim payments under this section if it fails to
determine the relevant claim within 10 business days after the date of receipt
of the claim.
(3) If on the final
determination of a claim it appears that an amount to which the claimant was
not entitled has been paid under this section, the Corporation may recover
that amount as a debt in a court of competent jurisdiction.
