(1) A police officer
may, in exercising powers under this Part, use a drug detection dog, an
electronic drug detection system, a metal detector or any other system or
device designed to assist in the detection of objects or substances.
(2) In this
section—
"drug detection dog" has the same meaning as in the
Controlled Substances Act 1984 ;
"electronic drug detection system" has the same meaning as in the
Controlled Substances Act 1984 .
