87—Prohibition on carriage of passengers on certain portions of public
passenger vehicle
The driver of a public passenger vehicle must not, without the approval of the
Minister—
(a)
carry a passenger on a portion of the vehicle not set apart or intended for
the conveyance of passengers; or
(b)
permit a person to occupy a portion of the driving seat or of the vehicle on
the right-hand side of that seat and abreast of it; or
(c)
permit a person to be on a portion of the vehicle in front of the driving
seat.
Maximum penalty: $750.
Expiation fee: $105.
