undertaking of demolition or refurbishment
The person with management or control of a workplace must ensure that the
person conducting a business or undertaking who carries out the demolition or
refurbishment is given a copy of the asbestos register before the demolition
or refurbishment is commenced.
Maximum penalty:
(a) In
the case of an individual—$6 000.
(b) In
the case of a body corporate—$30 000.
Expiation fee:
(a) In
the case of an individual—$720.
(b) In
the case of a body corporate—$3 600.
