(1) The operator of a
licensed major hazard facility must give the regulator written notice of any
change to any material particular in any information given at any time by the
operator to the regulator in relation to the licence within 14 days after
the operator becomes aware of the change.
Maximum penalty:
(a) In
the case of an individual—$1 250.
(b) In
the case of a body corporate—$6 000.
Expiation fee:
(a) In
the case of an individual—$144.
(b) In
the case of a body corporate—$720.
Example—
A change to the quantity of the hazardous chemicals present or likely to be
present at the facility.
(2) Subregulation (1)
applies whether the information was given in the application for grant or
renewal of the licence or in any other circumstance.
