CONSOLIDATED FUND APPROPRIATION (SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION FOR 2006- 2007) BILL 2007 (Brought in by the Premier, the Honourable Paul Anthony Lennon) A BILL FOR An Act for the appropriation of money out of the Consolidated Fund for the service of the financial year ending 30 June 2007 for the purpose of making a contribution to Division 3, Finance-General, a contribution to Division 12, Department of Police and Emergency Management and a contribution to Division 15, Department of Tourism, Arts and the Environment Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2006-2007) Act 2007. 2. Commencement This Act is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2006. Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2006-2007) Act 2007 Act No. of s. 3 3. Issue and appropriation of $23 141 000 (1) In respect of the financial year ending on 30 June 2007, the Treasurer may issue the sum of $23 141 000 out of the Consolidated Fund. (2) The sum specified in subsection (1) is appropriated. 4. Purposes of appropriation (1) The sum of $19 500 000 is to be applied to Division 3, Finance-General, representing a Recurrent Services appropriation. (2) The sum of $3 141 000 is to be applied to Division 12, Department of Police and Emergency Management, representing a Works and Services appropriation. (3) The sum of $500 000 is to be applied to Division 15, Department of Tourism, Arts and the Environment, representing a Works and Services appropriation. 4 Government Printer, Tasmania
